Style is in season! Carved from palewa stone and accented with copper paint, these Stone Salt & Pepper Shakers bring more to the table. Centuries ago, skilled stone workers were brought to Agra under Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to build the Taj Mahal. Today their descendants remain in the region, using the same tools and methods to achieve intricate soapstone carvings and inlay for beautiful sculptures and decorative pieces.

About Ten Thousand Villages:
The name Ten Thousand Villages — was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s quote. Because in every village are people who want to live a meaningful life with dignity and who bring beautiful culture worth sharing. Multiply the village idea by ten thousand and it represents the world we’re working to build.
