This basket is made from natural fig leaves in Jhenaidah, Bangladesh. This is a craft with long traditions, and artisans are involved in all steps of the process from harvesting the fibers to washing, drying, and weaving the final product.

Artisans earn fair wages allowing them to provide for their families, improve their living conditions, and put their children through school.
