This wooden plate is handcrafted by skilled carpenters in a workshop in Jashore, Bangladesh. Each plate is carefully carved by hand using sustainably sourced Albizia Saman wood, which is commonly grown in yards and along roadsides and sold by families as an extra source of income.

The plate is sold untreated but can be finished with a light coating of oil if desired, and handwashing is recommended.

It can be used decoratively with a candle or vase, elegantly serve food, act as a coaster with space for a treat, or stylishly store small items like jewelry or keys.
