Kumale Ceramics is crafted from locally sourced, non-porous red clay using time-honored methods. Kumale Ceramics preserves craftsman legacy with a blend of modern techniques. Kumale is made in a historic pottery center outside Kathmandu, one of Nepal's oldest pottery villages. For centuries, the potters have made traditional wares as family units, with many still following the same methods using clay dug up from farmers' paddies.
