Hinged Heart Box

This heart shaped box with hinged lid is handcrafted with sustainably harvested mango wood, ethically sourced bone, and shiny inlaid brass. Master artisans in north central India begin with solid blocks of ethically sourced wood. They use hand tools to skillfully carve the blocks into functional works of art. Cruelty free bone tiles are expertly hand carved to extend from the center heart charm to the rounded edges of the heart. The gold finish brass heart charm is crafted and inlaid by hand at the lids center. Opening the hinged lid reveals the open, heart shaped, inner compartment. This piece can be used as a handcrafted jewelry box, wooden keepsake box, or memory box.
