These felt ornaments are hand made in Nepal in a  family owned workshop that follows fair trade practices. The Winding Road employs more than 200 women who were at risk for human trafficking who now make a fair wage and work in a safe environment. The Winding Road takes a portion of their profits to pay school tuition for several of the workers' kids each year and reimburse employees for medical expenses.
