These felt Bird Ornaments are handmade in Nepal in our family-owned workshop that follows fair trade practices. The Winding Road employs more than 200 women who were at risk for human trafficking who now make a fair wage and work in a safe environment. They take a portion of our profits to pay school tuition for the workers' children each year and reimburse employees for medical expenses.
