Our “about us” page is truly about us - collectively you, me, our team at the shop, the artisans who create the goods we sell, and the brands we represent.

Clean Slate Goods exists with the mindset that together we can create positive change in this world.

The reality is, there’s a lot of dark and heavy things in this world - poverty, addiction, human trafficking, prejudice, and a general devaluing of the worth God has given each and every one of us. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and feel “stuck” by the magnitude of it all.

Back in 2015, God stirred in my heart to be a part of the solution - to support work being done to uplift those in vulnerable communities. I began to learn about organizations offering more than temporary charity; who were offering holistic care and sustainable income paired with the creation of beautiful products. I was inspired by story after story of the positive ripple effect created through dignified employment for artisans, their families, and their communities. The more I learned, the more a desire grew to one day have a shop to showcase the products crafted be these amazing artisans. In 2018, God opened the doors for that to happen and Clean Slate Goods was born.

So today, with each purchase you make with us, you can be confident you are making an investment for good. You’ll find the story behind each product under the product’s description - where it’s made and the mission of the brand represented.
