Happy Fall, Friends!

Just this past Friday, I noticed the first frost of the season glittering the grass outdoors (my 5 year old wanted to know what it was - obviously it’s been awhile.  Buckle up, buddy.  Time to say so-long to your shorts).   There’s something to appreciate with each coming season though, frost and all.  The pumpkins, scarecrows, apples, falling leaves, a chill in the air, a warm drink to sip... these are a few of my favorite things about fall.

 

Fall also brings with it some fun activities and I’m happy we’ll be a part of the Fall Festival in the Kennett Borough this Saturday.  

Photo booth, s’mores station, apple cider, pumpkin and face painting, and trick-or-treating at the local shops - it’s the perfect way to enjoy fall with your kids or pet.  Costumes are encouraged!  See full info here.

 

We’re also taking our shop on the road this week with a pop-up at the Hockessin Athletic Club  on Tuesday, Oct. 23rd from 9AM-noon and Thursday, October 25th from 4-7PM.  

We’ll still be open our regular hours at the shop, but will also have a sampling of our products in the lobby at HAC available for purchase.  So if you’re in the area, or getting in your workout, make sure to stop by and say “hello.”  Would love to see you there!

 

 

As the holidays approach (yes, I’m a bit in denial myself, but the calendar doesn’t lie), we’re gearing up with new products arriving weekly, all handmade by our awesome artisan partners.  Handbags, candles, jewelry, decor, toys & stuffed friends for the littles, greeting cards, and chocolate (trust me, it’s worth passing up the Halloween candy for these amazing fair trade bars!).

We’ll be updating our online shop with some of these products as they come in, but if you’re local, our complete selection is always in store so come on in to check out the full line of our latest goods.
