This sisal, woven basket is approximately 12" in diameter and woven by Amsha's artisans in Gitarama, Rwanda. The sisal is woven around sweetgrass, a fragrant grass with a subtle sweetness. In addition to making a beautiful table display, these baskets can also be hung as art.
AMSHA MEANS 'TO AWAKEN' IN SWAHILI. Every day is an opportunity to wake up with purpose and passion. To awaken with new ideas, opportunities, and adventures ahead of you.
At Amsha, we believe in the slow fashion movement and create our goods with environmentally friendly and fair trade practices in mind. We are creating jobs, promoting education, and improving the quality of life in East Africa.
